Diagnostic Photonics is a medical imaging startup working to commercialize a novel incarnation of Optical Coherence Tomography for use during breast cancer surgeries. Our unique hand held hardware and improved software algorithms create an image of higher quality and flexibility than our competitors. The technology will allow the surgeon to inspect the tissue remaining in the patient for residual cancer in real time (the current state of care requires a lab to inspect days after surgery).
